Important: We advise on paperwork. We are not a law firm. The licensing authority decides every case.

Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This privacy policy explains how Hunting Associates (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit this website or contact us. It is written to meet GDPR requirements and Microsoft Advertising landing-page rules for sites that collect personal data.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Hunting Associates, Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: info@huntingassociates.com.

What we collect

If you use the contact form we collect first name, last name, email address, the type of enquiry you select, your message, and the time of submission. We do not publish a business phone number and we do not ask for one on the form. Server logs may store IP address, browser type, and requested URL for security and diagnostics.

Why we use the data

  • To reply to your enquiry about hunting licences, the hunter’s exam, or related guidance (consent and/or steps before a contract).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website (legitimate interest).
  • To comply with accounting and legal obligations if you become a client.
  • If we run Microsoft Advertising, to measure whether ads led to a page view or form enquiry, only where allowed after the cookie policy.

We do not sell data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not use your enquiry to build public testimonials without a separate written OK from you.

Who else may see the data

Hosting and email providers process data on our instructions. If Microsoft Advertising or similar measurement is enabled, Microsoft may process technical identifiers as described in the cookie policy. Licence decisions are made by the competent authority — we do not send your form data to any authority unless you later ask us, in writing, to help with a specific application.

How long we keep it

Unanswered marketing-style enquiries are deleted within 12 months. Correspondence needed for an active advisory matter is kept for the duration of that matter and then for up to 24 months, or longer if bookkeeping law requires it. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, and you may withdraw consent for future contact. Email us at the address above. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Advertising

This website may be advertised on Microsoft Advertising (Bing) and similar networks. Ads describe hunting-licence guidance and related services. We do not advertise the sale of firearms, ammunition, or weapon accessories. Landing pages include a prominent link to this policy.
